The first Asia Cup series was played 36 years ago in 1984 at Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates where the council’s office were based (until) 1995.In the beginning the ACC Asia Cup was a men’s One Day International cricket match of 50/50 overs but now it become Twenty20 International cricket tournament.
